The Chairman of Ayni District, **Ravshan Rahimzoda**, visited the Zarafshon District Hospital to review the progress of renovation and reconstruction works and personally familiarized himself with the construction process and the conditions being created.
It should be noted that this hospital is being gradually repaired and modernized at the initiative of the Executive Body of State Authority of Ayni District, bringing it in line with modern healthcare standards. The goal of this initiative is to improve the level and quality of medical services and create favorable conditions for the treatment of residents.
During the visit, the Chairman emphasized that the development and progress of the healthcare sector are the result of the far-sighted and humane social policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon. He stated:
“Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, constantly emphasizes that ‘The health of the nation is the priceless wealth of the state.’ Thanks to the continuous attention of the country’s top leadership to the healthcare sector, hundreds of new medical institutions have been built during the years of independence, and existing facilities have been fully renovated and reconstructed. At the district level, we are also obliged to ensure the practical implementation of this people-centered policy and mobilize all available resources to protect public health.”
At the same time, sector officials were instructed to further improve the level and quality of medical services, ensure attentive and caring treatment of patients, effectively utilize modern medical equipment, and give priority attention to cleanliness, order, and compliance with sanitary standards.
Within the framework of the completed works, the main building of the hospital has been fully renovated, patient wards, examination and treatment rooms have been repaired, and heating systems, power supply networks, and other engineering infrastructure have been upgraded. These measures will improve the working conditions of doctors and enable the provision of medical services to the population at a higher level.
According to Ravshan Rahimzoda, the Executive Body of State Authority of Ayni District will continue to take the necessary measures to strengthen the material and technical base of healthcare institutions and improve the sector’s infrastructure.
Undoubtedly, the implementation of such initiatives in Ayni District clearly demonstrates the practical realization of the state’s social policy at the local level and contributes to improving the living standards and strengthening public health protection.
